It was such a long day that I had on 13 March. I went to school in the morning to have a Oops! Web Team meeting and kind of pathetic. Only three of us was present, SK, Yen and myself. Fahmi was sick as told by SK and I think the rest is on attachment bah. Anyway, the meeting was short and discuss quite a bit and settled on the clubs to be featured in the upcoming issue and on the Oops! website. Oh ya, the website is currently undergoing a major facelift but its going to take a while so people, just hang in there.
After which, me and SK went for duty for the Enrolment Drive but then, we could not find the room or booth or whatever. I called my officer but no reply and we decided to leave the place for Fairuz’s office. We went there and SK told her about the CCA club feature plans and then my officer called. How timely it was. Then after much clarification, we headed back to the Enrolment Drive venue and we practically did NOTHING. How cool lah!
Then at the end of it, SK called Fairuz again to check whether she’s back from talking to the sponsors. Then we headed back there again. Oh goodness, we had been walking to and fro for the whole day. Gawd! Anyway, we got there before she reach the office. Then supposedly we go there is to do nothing but we ended up doing a lot of stuffs. I cross checked the equipment quotation that we got from the supplier and there were lots of mistakes then Fairuz tried calling Jacob, our Chief Photographer and just could not get through as she needs to submit the RO immediately so she needs to get him and clarify the items. I saw the list and its WOW. Cool equipments coming in soon and its really soon.
Ok then. SK then was put in charge of the Oops! CCA Showcase IC. Poor thing. IC for both Bowlers and Oops! but never mind, IC does not mean you need to be physically there. Haha! Oops! =X But please, do a good show for our freshmen and please recruit many many for both. Seriously shortage of people. Gawd!
And ya, I got the Oops! stickers and supposedly got to bring it to the fabric shop to buy cloth for the decorations of the Oops! booth and haha! Oops! tee by NUM. Woo hoo! Left L size and its just nice for me. =D
Yup. That all as I left school at 9pm with SK and Fairuz. =)
I had just watched the movie titled Rescue Dawn thus the title for my post.
I do not need to elaborate more of its source. =X
Anyway, it is a cool epic war movie based on a true story originating from the US-Viet war time. I do not know whether this movie is screened in Singapore but try your means of getting to watch the movie. YouTube does screen some parts of the movie.
Overall, I think those who loves war movies should have no problem sticking your butts for two hours onto your seat. Haha!

Ok. It was another exhilarating IT Show over the weekend. And guess what, I never attend it but I got my hands on my much-awaited brand new external hard disk. I wanted to get the 500GB Western Digital Home Edition but to my disappointment, it was sold out by the second day as posted by many in hardwarezone forums. So what did I get instead?

Actually I’ve got my Razer Lachesis to the right of my laptop which is blue. =D

Working around the clock. No lah, I’m just kidding but I did work through the night thou. I had to do up my group’s short film animation previews for Gary to see by Sunday and also on the other hand, need to read up on Flash as Oops! website is going to be revamped 100%. So my boss, SK, had given me the task of overseeing the progressive works on HTML and Flash development leading up to the cumulation of the whole new layout of Oops! website. Stress? Not really as this used to be my tool of trade and now it is still my tool. But pressure, there will always be bounds to have pressure. If no pressure then I will not call it working already. Haha!
Looking at that, I thought to myself, the countless sleepless nights are going to befall once again. But again, I had been through it and done that before, just bring it once more and in the future, there will be more to come too. I think it had been a routine since the day I decided to go into this industry or rather my passion and I will follow on this passion for the years to come or even forever as, this industry is what I called exciting and extremely demanding. For my passion, I am ready to face every challenge ahead.
Alright, I had actually did up my short film animation portion and it is about to finish soon. It is well on time. Below are some still renders for your viewing pleasure. Full film will be out in two weeks time, so stay tuned for my group’s creative work.
